Privacy Policy

In short: Holdwell does not collect any of your data. There is no account, no server of ours, no advertising and no tracking. What you enter stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage, which we cannot access.

Who we are

Holdwell is developed by Yunus Emre Ulu, an independent developer based in Türkiye. You can reach us at support@useholdwell.com.

What you enter in the app

Meals marked as “Ate” and “Hungry”, appetite scores, symptoms, injection dates with the dose text and site you choose to enter, and your radar rules are stored in a database on your iPhone.

If iCloud is turned on for Holdwell, Apple syncs this database to your private iCloud account so it is available on your other devices and after reinstalling. This data lives in your iCloud account under Apple’s privacy terms. We have no access to it.

Apple Health

With your permission, Holdwell reads and writes your weight in Apple Health. It also reads sleep and workout times only to avoid sending reminders while you are asleep or exercising. Holdwell does not keep its own copy of your weight; it reads it from Apple Health when needed.

Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, is never sold, and never leaves your device except through Apple’s own Health and iCloud services.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device. No notification content is sent through a server of ours.

Photos

If you save your Experience Card to Photos, Holdwell asks for permission to add images only. It cannot read your photo library.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, payment details or Apple ID. The app only checks with Apple whether a subscription is active.

Analytics, advertising and third parties

Holdwell contains no analytics tools, no advertising and no third-party tracking code. If you have chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports. These contain no personal data.

Emails to support

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we do not share them.

Deleting your data

Deleting Holdwell removes the data stored on your device. To also remove the copy in iCloud, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage, choose Holdwell and delete its data. Weight entries in Apple Health can be managed in the Health app.

Children

Holdwell is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. If you have any question about your privacy, including under GDPR or Türkiye’s KVKK, write to support@useholdwell.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
